    Hi

I just bought my black 325i and am researching about how to protect and maintain the black paint. I`ve done some research on the forum and this is basically what I have in mind. Clay magic clay bar then Klasse AIO. I`m not sure what sealant to use right now because from what i`ve seen on the forums, Klasse seems to be a cleaner and also a sealant. Should I put #16 carnauba on top of the Klasse or some NXT? I would go for Souveran but it`s too expensive. I would appreciate any input thanks

This is a link to a Souveran in case you have not seen it. While Souveran is expensive there is a 2 for 1 deal right now so maybe you can pair up with a friend and get a jar for half off.

There really is nothing better on Black BMWs in my opinion.

S100/P21S does a very nice if distant second for $15 a jar from your local Harley dealer. Very glassy and reflective but not as wet looking as Souveran.

I don`t know where you live(if its cold weather or still warm) but if you have a new Beemer and you think Souvern is too expensive WHAT GIVES?There is no better shine on a black car then SOUVERN find the few extra bucks and go for it .There are a lot of different combos that will do the job and here is my choice

    wash

    clay

    wash again

    Souvern

3 days later wash and Souvern

7 days after that wash and wax SOUVERN

    stand back and admire

Oops...not exactly 2 for 1, 2 for $95 with 2 MF towels and applicator. Still a big discount on a per jar basis and the Pinnacle MFs are nice quality.

For maximum protection you could use Kasse Sealant Glaze. This gives a very shiny reflective look, and I really like it on my Jet Black M3. I`ve also used P21S, and this is a great looking wax and easy to use. And I`ve liked P21S over Klasse Sealant Glaze. Yesterday, I applied Souveran over AIO and I now I`m finally getting to appreciate all the hype surrounding Pinnacle Souveran.

The bottom line is that if the paint is well prepped, almost any wax -sealant will look awfully good. I was able to get very good results using Mequire`s Gold Class wax.
