Today I found a new, seemingly good TW product (don`t !!!). It is called Turtle Wax ClearVue Wax and is supposedly the world`s first completely clear wax, with no coloring or other impurities whatsoever.

It is a clear liquid - but no hints to the ingredients, or material composition. There is also a Clear Vue Wash version. They are made by Turtle Wax UK.

    Who knows more about that?

Surely it is interesting for you to see the Hungarian conversation. Nice, but hard language.

As for the ClearVue Wax, I really can not imagine what the exact composition is. I`m sure that a lot of poly & synthetics are in it. I ordered a bottle but it will arrive in about a month. I took the demo bottle and it was a not-too-thick, not-too-thin, oily liquid with obviously good protecting and lubricating qualities, cuz the inner side of the bottle was really slick and well protected.

Got an itch to try but don`t what to expect. European TW procucts are often better often crappier, or simply others than those in the US. We don`have Platinum Series, but have this stuff. I`ll post some pics when I tried it.

I let Bence answer that. I left in 1980 and at that time it sucked. Not sure how much has changed.

    Tdekany,

when you left, in 1980 it sucked. True. Our most popular comedian, Hofi was joking about socialism. Then in 1989 it was the turnaround. Since then... capitalism at its best. Not sure which was worse. More personal limits or more financial.

Now you can get everything. Certain Hungarians have lotsa money - but it is concentrated around the capitol. We were always centralized, because of the location of Budapest. There is everything and the other towns, cities, etc., following behind. The govt builds a lot of highways now, but it should have been built a long time ago.

We had a gipsy prime minister (whoa!), but now the government is a more refined one. Although everyone wants to steal money from everywhere.

The security is still pretty good, you can walk on the streets anytime; you are safe. Of course some criminal activites increased, but it is not so bad.

To be honest, it is still a beautiful country, but it gets saturated with low-key values, etc. But as a place to live it is

:xyxthumbs , although some things are expensive! Example: Makita DA for $600! A gallon of fuel for $4.3-5.4. OK, it`s 91/95/98/100 octane but nevertheless... The average per capita income is $350. But you see countless Merc Ss, Audi A8s, BMW 7s. But luckily, only a few Lexuses. Why luckily? Luckily it remained as a car for the demanding individuals, not for tattooed pimps, and gipsy greengrocer`s Premium Choice! Any further questions?

P.S.: and we don`t have detailers!!! (lack of interest)

    Thattttt`s right!

We make a lot of cars, components. Audi makes not only the TT in Gyõr, but also inline four and V6 engines. GM has made the subcompact Opel Astra here, but the production moved to Poland and the Hungaro-factory now churns out engines.

We even make exhausts for Rolls-Royce and plastic trim pieces for Civics...
