Techniques for using the Mirka Fast Finish System, to machine wet sand. This workshop will be taught by Mark Willie from Mirka Abrasives.







Hand wet sanding

Techniques for using Meguiar’s Unigrit Finishing Papers to wet sand. This workshop will be taught by Mike Pennington, Director of Training for Meguiar’s Inc.



Machine Polishing using the Rotary Buffer

Techniques for polishing flat surfaces such as hoods, fenders, roofs, etc. This workshop will be taught by Jason Rose, Professional Sales Rep. Central California

Techniques for polishing difficult surfaces, such as A-pillars, Curved sections, Multi-panel intersections and other difficult areas to machine buff with a rotary. This workshop will be taught by Kevin Brown, Meguiar’s Distributor GoodGuys West Coast Nationals – 20 years detailing experience.

Machine Polishing using the Meguiar`s G-100

Techniques for using Meguiar’s G-100 Dual Action Polisher for removing swirls, scratches and cobweb-effect and then applying and removing polishes and paint protectants. This workshop will be taught by Mike Phillips, Meguiar`s Internet Technical Specialist.

We`ll have to see how this one goes, if it goes well, then yes there is a chance you`ll see it again.



We`re getting this information out to the public about a month late. Please feel free to crosspost this thread to other forums if you think there is interest.

I can already see that my avatar has GOT to be changed...



I am working on the specifics of the kits through the weekend. I can tell you that there will be two seperate kits available.



One kit is tailored to compliment the included Mirka Bulldog Sander, while the other kit is tailored to compliment the included Meguiar`s G100.

If it wasn`t for the fact that I`m getting married this summer, with money and vacation time being tight, I`d definately want to go to that even if that means flying or driving down from Canada.



Any chance it`ll come to the Northwest region, maybe next year some time?

Hi InZane,



This is a trial run, so will have to see how it goes. Meguiar`s Saturday Detailing clinics are now booked through Thanksgiving, (I have to add some dates because the server lost some new additions), and shortly I will be opening 2005 up for clubs to resever.



Part of opening up 2005 will include leaving some Saturdays for other events, not in Irvine, CA
