    Another "have you seen/used..." question:

As I was spending far too much money in Boat U.S. today, I wandered over to the cleaning supplies. Saw this 3M Marine and the price piqued my interest ($22.99). Expensive, so it must be good, right?

Marine applications + 3M qc should equal high durability. Anyone played with this?

Never heard of it. Why not order some and give the first review?

3M Marine Ultra Performance Paste Wax`s unique polymer technology provides the durability of an acrylic with the soil release and water beading properties of a fluoropolymer and silicone, making it the most advanced product of its kind. It will leave a protective high gloss finish on marine fiberglass gelcoat, marine topside paints, painted aluminum and metal parts. The easy-on/easy-off formulation will save time and effort and leave our boat with a long lasting protection that retards U.V. light damage.

Most acrylic and fluoropolymer products are liquids. Interesting that this one is a paste.

I think if you put `Marine" or "Motorcycle" in the name, you are allowed to double the price even though it is the same as an automobile product.

My local Wal-Mart has this for $14.00 and it is the same as the 3M paste wax for cars according to the MSDS for each product.

There were some posts on this board about the car wax from some member in Arizona who said it lasted in the summer heat and that two coats a week apart lasted a long time.

    Cheers,
