I`ve got this film on my glas, that even windscreen clear can`t get out. I think it`s from some of my older towels that got a silicone based dressing on them, and never really came out. So I tried using glas polish, like the instructions say, but it won`t haze over for me. Am I not using enough of the polish? I`m thinking the towel(soft cotton towel) is soaking up the polish, and I`m not using enough? The directions ay to apply liberally, do they mean to soak the towel? Also, will the glass polish clean this haze off? The glass leaks clean, and isn`t streaky, but when seen in direct sun, it looks exactly like what hazing looks like on paint. If I take my finger and streak it, it comes off, but it`s all over the glass.

Turns out the wierd haze was from my microfiber. I switched over to some cotton towels, and with the Schiebenklar and some scrubbing, it was all gone. My towels must have some kind of residue that I can`t seem to wash off :nixweiss

I just switched toweling, the glass is coming out perfect now, but I`d still like to know how to use glas polish, as I`d like to clean up my girlfriend`s windshield, it has really bad water spots that Scheibenklar won`t even touch.

Just apply it as the directions state. Glas Polish can be applied using a cotton towel, a foam applicator pad, a DA orbital or a rotary. And as always, apply on cool surface in the shade.
