Can the following wax be used as a topper? (ie. no cleaners/harsh solvents that will harm previous layers)

    Mothers Wax 5500

    MOTHERS GOLD PASTE

Can anyone comment on the apperance of this wax?

Thats all I use as a topper, 05550 California Gold® Natural Formula, very deep shine on my Silver and white cars, tried a lot of others and that seems to work the best for me.

05500 California Gold® Original Formula Paste Wax is a wax with cleaners in it - it`s pink in color.

05550 California Gold® Natural Formula would be the proper topper - it has no cleaners (polishes) in it and is yellow in color

I just did a mini-write up of it here, a couple days ago.

That`s a review of the 5550, which brings out NO color from my single stage red.
