taxidriver, since there is no email address, that may be an indicator that "GritGuard" is strictly a hobby for someone.

there are plenty of other places selling the product. Just search on grit guard and you will see other re-sellers.

Is there a specific question that we can help with or does it pertain to shipping?

www.usplastics.com carrys the bucket,$6, and the gamma seal and cover, $8.

I didn`t make this find until after I purchased two Grit Guard Washing Systems.

They provide a phone number to order their product. It`s not an email but if you have any questions, I`m sure they could assist.

US Plastics, I believe, has the utility patent on the gamma seal. I have to say $39.99 vs. $14.00 is a great save, granted you did not get the "grit guard", but if memory serves me correctly someone did come up with in ingenious copycat that consisted of cutting a circle out of the plastic square bracketing that you usually see in office light fixtures.

    Quote: Grit guard.

    ~One mans opinion / observation~

You can buy the grit guard from California Duster Co (calcover.com)

I brought the Grit Guard Bucket, but found that the Groit’s bucket shape was better for the boar’s hairbrush I use for washing.

The ‘Gamma Seal’ is another (hype) word for O-Ring seal

    ~Hope this helps~

why do I need to be concerned about lids and seals/gaskets atop a wash bucket? Normally, when I`m done washing, the buckets are rinsed and that`s that. I leave the buckets open to air dry. Why do I need a lid with a seal

My thoughts also. The only reason I would need a lid is to make the bucket into a seat maybe.

Pat, that make sense, but with an endless number of dirty cars to wash, there`s no time for sittin` on one`s backside. :nono
