This weekend I put PUPP over the (week old) AIO on my wife`s beater Buick. What a difference - I think it doubled the gloss of the AIO and so silky smooth. I was impressed and I`m a skeptic.

OK, here are my questions. Can I layer PUPP over SG? or just AIO? Will PUPP layer?

Yup. I`ve had no trouble with that combination at all. I`ve been layering UPP and SG for awhile now and I like it. I haven`t seen any trouble with durability or hazing or anything.

Ditto for me. PUPP over SG is an awesome combo. I typically do AIO and then a couple or 3 coats of SG, and then just PUPP once a month or two until I need to clean the paint again.

I have been using SG + UPP for a while also. Not for appearance but for the added protection. UPP :up

Everyone - thanks for your answers. Got my second layer of SG on last evening. One more to go before a couple of PUPP`s.

Gonzo, did you notice a pretty big difference between the first layer of SG and the 2nd? If so, what was the most noticeable...

The second layer added a little more sparkle, not much, but enough to see in the setting sun of evening under a sunny blue sky. But then again, it might have been autosuggestion from thread research), as this is my first experience with SG. AIO I`ve used before.

My polishing marathon over Turkey Day weekend was revealed to be inadequate this morning in my office`s parking structure high intensity lights. I missed some scratches on my hard tonneau, so it looks like I will need to breakout the "grinder" to take `em down. I have included this merely to point out the SG doesn`t fill or hide swirl marks or small scratches - I guess that is because you apply it thin-as-a-cobweb.
