I bought some of the Meguiar`s Gold Class Endurance tire gel today high gloss and man that stuff rocks. I applied it with some eagle one wipes onto my tires and they look great. It advertises that it will lasts for weeks and we will see. It is pricey at $7 a bottle and I may not be able to use it detailing every car. Any feedback on this product?:nixweiss

Now that I look i think there are a lot of threads on this product.

I too have the high gloss, I apply with an old beater foam applicator and then swipe the excess off with my E1 tire swipe. Looks awesome,,,,91

I am on my 2nd bottle now...I like it a lot, but it sure is messy...I guess it would be a good idea to wear some kind of thin, disposable glove to make cleanup a little easier.

The stuff is great and it smells like grapes *good smell a plus*:up

$7 seems like a lot but you really don`t have to use that much if you put it on with a tire swipe.

My first bottle of Endurance lasted me nearly 12 months and was used near enough weekly so impressed from an cost effectiveness standpoint but less so with durability as in rain it`s gone within a few hours - maybe I`m getting it wrong but I apply with a foam pad and sometimes buff for a less shiny appearance.

I`ve recently started buffing off excess and then applying a coat of armour all which gives a nice satin finish and seems fairly durable.

The tires will loose their sheen in rain because they become coated with grime, but they stay nice and black. When the ar is washed I always get the original look back.

Is anyone using the gel for other reasons or places besides the tires?

I used it on the molding under the doors on my taurus.

    Lasts for a month?!! REALLY?!!

I am soo disappointed with this stuff. It lasts about 3 days and that`s it. Never more than 5 days. Do you guys do something different??

Did you clean the tire well first? I`ve found that makes a big difference in how long it lasts. I mean really clean it with a brush and an APC?

And its not going to hold its full gloss for a month, it settles into a deep black sheen. I like it better after its been washed once.

It`s too greasy for me. I`ve found Platinum`s is a lot less greasy, still somewhat because it is a gel and that its not so "blingy" and it settles down for dark and matte after a day or two.

I have to say that we had some rain here over the last day and the Meguiar`s is no longer. I applied this stuff to my tires on Monday and already it has pretty much dissapeared off my tires.

So I must say I will give it another chance and my high has become a low. I had better results and length with Balck Magic gel.

How many times have you applied the Megs? Use it for a month and then see. It accumulates and will eventually last a month, but not after the initial application.
