A-maz for water spots on windows?

Last weekend, with the help of a friend, we tackled some nasty water spots on his VW Passant. Previously I had success removing hard water spots from his CC with OGST. Now it was time to remove hard waters spots on the windows.

Broke out the A-maz and it did a fair job minimizing the water spots, but didn`t completely remove them.

Then, out of desperation I pulled the #0000 steel wool out and started rubbing with AIO. The steel wool/AIO combo did the trick!!!

I`ve been using 0000 steel wool and wax shop compound (any decent compound will work) with excellent results also. It just takes some good ole elbow grease to get rid of the spots, but when finished, the glass looks like new. Windshield gets a treatment of Rain-X and it`s good to go.:xyxthumbs

Yesterday I detailed a late model SUV with hard water spots. I explained how I would remove them (with #0000 steel wool and AIO) and the owner objected.

So she took delivery of her newly detailed vehicle with hard water spotted windows.
