I have used something like on my PC before but I don`t use it much anymore. I find using a micro-fiber towel on carpets works better.

I have. It works pretty good, but it`s not very durable. A steel spindle is threaded into the wooden body, and after a few uses the threads in the wood became stripped. I could fix it, but it`s not such a valuable tool that I`m sitting here burning up waiting to have it back, y`know? I last used it in... August, maybe? And... March, before that? I`ve used it perhaps 3 times in a year.
