A while back I suggested that the Mother`s clay package was a rip-off because they make you buy several items just to get the clay. Since then I purchased the Pinnacle clay (3-bar package). The Mother`s clay seems far superior to me and worth the cost of the kit. The pinnacle clay just seems to fall apart in my hands. After rubbing for a minute there is a hole where I was pressing and the clay just seems to break-up. I am still using the Mother`s clay bar that I originally complained about to this day. The pinnacle stuff is sitting in the garage.

You can buy the Mother`s clay 3-pack (3 clay bars) directly from Mothers at a reasonable price without buying anything else. That is what I use.

Retail on Mother`s Claybar is $19.95, each bar is 80 grams, or 2.84 oz. Pinnacle Claybars (Plus Kit) are 3 for $49.95, and each bar is 3.5 oz.

The Mother`s Clay is at Pep Boys for $14.99 right now.

3 Mothers Clay = $45, with 3 2.84 oz bars, 3 bottles of lube and 3 throw-away bottles of liquid cleaner wax.

Pinnacle Clay Kit = $49.95, with 3 3.5 oz bars, 2 bottles of lube, and 2 Cobra MF towels.

You decide which is the better value.

And for me, both products work equally well, I like and use both.

Glad you found satisfaction in the product. My only clay experience is the Mother`s and ClayMagic`s. I definitely prefer the Mother`s clay between those two.

I prefer the clay magic, you get a kit with clay lube and 100g clay bar that costs 10 bucks. Mothers clay isn`t bad, however, i wish they would have competed with clay magic and offered a 100g bar. Having used both(and ive used about 3 clay magic bars and 2 mothers), I can say that the clay magic is stickier holding, but thats about it. You can`t go wrong with either one, but if you want the same effect for less money, go for the clay magic, or maybe just order some clay from either mothers or clay magic instead of the kits.

Also, the Pinnacle products are "satisfaction guaranteed". Have you contacted the vendor? I`m sure they will exchange the remaining product for something more satisfactory.

    Just sayin.

I agree. You can get the Clay Magic at Autozone for $9.99 and the Mothers Kit at Wal mart for $12.99. Both are great deals. The Mothers bar works pretty well. The 16 oz of Mothers Showtime QD that comes with it is actually a great QD.

Could you direct me to that? I looked all over the mother`s site including their order form and could not find it.

Try contacting Forrest, he works for Mothers and can give you the low down. Or, you can try calling Mothers customer service.
