Can anyone tell me the difference between these 2 products because they both seem very similar? Which one is the best to use for a quick shine after washing or in place of washing?

Same product as far as I know. Same as Quick Detail in the retail line, just rebadged for retail. Final Detail is rebadged for "Detailer" products.

What do you have on the vehicle? Wax? Zaino? Klasse?

I have One Grand Blitz, soon to try P21S.

I asked the question about the meguiars, because I can buy both products by the gallon in the UK, but `inspection` is more expensive than `detail`. I purchased the `detail` & it seeems OK to me. Tempted to try the Clearkote QS but it`s twice the cost of the Megs Fine Detail.

Three totally different products. Preference is mostly a matter of choice, but FI is paint shop safe which probably means it doesn`t have any silicone in it. Unless you are planning on painting your car right after you use FD, that shouldn`t be a problem. With P21S, either product should work good.

Thanks for the replies guys, I`ll stick with FD then as it`s the cheapest over here, Clearkote QS is twice the price & probably not worth it.

It is to some people. When you think of how many uses you get from a gallon, the price per use is really not that much. :nixweiss

Never used it. Do a search and you will find quite a few people that do. Some of them are quite positive in their belief that it is worth the money. I`m surprised that the price difference isn`t greater for you.

Yes, it is more than twice (slightly), I had miscalculated a bit.

FI is approx $27 & QS approx $59 (equivalent) -US Gallons obviously

In our area FI varies from $18 to $23 a gallon,

FD is around $13 to $15 a gallon.

We quite often forget how lucky we are in the U.S. Not only can we get the good stufff pretty easily, it is usually priced right.

    Kinda nice, isn`t it?

In the UK, US products that are available to us are usually priced in Ă‚£ sterling the same as US$ i.e if you pay 20 we pay 20 pounds about 1.6 times more in real terms
