I was in Costco the other night and came across these MF towels. A 12 pack was just under 9 dollars. They are 16x16 and appear to be fairly plush. Made in China from a 85 x 15 blend. They passed the cd test with no marring. The only drawback I could see is they only come in yellow. The blue towel in the picture is a Pakshak I not sure of the green one. Hopefully I will get a chance to try them out this weekend. Mark

:hm Call me skeptical .... but I`m finding it hard to believe that these cheapies are of comparable quality to the PakShak, MFTech, and others we use. Hoping someone will give this a critical look.

True, for paint. But for interior wipedowns, windows, rim polish, you can`t go wrong with microfiber, especially if they`re decent quality for the price.

Wow..I might have to head to Costco to check those out. I am sure they are comparable to the 5 for $5.00 ones at Walmart. I agree they don`t compare to the Pakshak or Neatitems towels etc.

But you can`t beat them for the price for door jambs, windows, wheels, etc.

Now wait a minute! Wasn`t the test to see if the MF`s are of good quality to rub them on a cd? Apparently it passed, so why the "Can`t be as good as a "PakShak" MF" comment`s?:nixweiss I`m not starting a flame war. I`m just curious. By the way. I have some Pak Shak MFs and WW`s on the way.

If the MF`s do not cause marring on a CD, and they seem plush, what is the problem in using them? There is no problem! Go ahead and use them! Just because it is not a recognized brand here on Autopia, does not make them a bad towel.

And Brian, they are not in Canada`s Costco; I was there an hour ago!!:angry

Yeah I wouldn`t have even bothered checking. :p I was just there last week anyway.

They do have some new 3M MF towels specifically aimed at kitchen use though. They`re white/cream with a terry woven square pattern (flat in between squares) with different coloured borders. A pack of 6 for $12.99 I think, 30x32cm. I didn`t get any though.

I totally agree with you guys! Been using Microfibers from the Dollar Tree for a few months now and I have had no problems with my paint. I was going to order some towels online but these work fine although they are a little small. I do not see how people can make comments about the quality of these towels without actually trying them or waiting to hear a review first.
