CALIFORNIA GOLD® PAINT CHIP REPAIR Kit.

The demostration I saw on TV was interesting. What does the kit consist of? Did it work as advertised? Easy? Difficult?

    Any experiences would be appreciated.

It`s Lanka in a Mothers bottle. Works ok... I tried it on some small nicks on my Red GP. The problem is getting the paint to stay in the nick, the stuff removes it and it takes a while to get the hang of it. If the nick is real shallow it won`t work at all. I kept the stuff but now use Davids` "scratch and nick" repair procedures with much better results.

    Thanks Red98gt,

My nick is also very shallow and not very appear to anyone but me and my wife. I am so afraid that repairing may make things more obvious.

I like David`s technique but I was looking for a complete kit that worked in the same manner.

Auto detailing.. No real short cuts.
