Awesome product. I regularly detail Harleys and with all the road grime and grease they seem to accumulate, it can be a real pain to clean them. Hard to access some areas, combination of chrome, paint, alloys and leather.

S100 TCC is a spray on, hose off product that really works. The spray seems to find every little nook and cranny and simply rinsing it off with a strong stream gets nearly every bit of dirt and grease off the bike, without hurting the painted surfaces and leather. It`s got a weird smell, like watery kitchen grease (if you ever worked in a fast food restaurant, you will recognize the smell).

It is a water based cleaner and you spray it on and immediately (or before the cleaner begins to dry) rinse it off. You want to really use some water pressure to make sure the cleaner rinses completely off so it doesn`t streak. If a bike is really dirty, you may need to use a brush to aggitate the really nasty stuff, but for a reasonably clean bike, just spray and rinse. Simply dry the bike and it is clean.

Anyway, one small bottle (100 ml, I think) was enough for two bikes (cost was $8.39) but they have more economical, larger sizes. Definitely will be buying more!

I am sure it would work fine. You have to use it on a cool surface so it doesn`t dry and leave streaks. If it is safe to spray on leather, I am sure it would be safe on anything under the hood as well.

    Scottwax,

Is this the same product as P21S Total Auto Wash? The smell seems similar to what I remember when using it!

As I understand it, the Total Auto Wash will remove wax. I tried using it to get rid of some cosmoline when my car was new and it helped but did not do the whole job. What do you think?

    Thanks! Eric

P.S. I gotta say after viewing your pics I think you are extremely talented! That`s not just hard work, it`s art!:xyxthumbs

I`ll agree that it works really well, though I recently started using Castrol Super Clean, $5.00 or so/gallon, which seems to work just about as well.

Scottwax, CharlesW told me to refer to your review on the TCC...

Can it easily remove years of accumulated dust/dirt in between bumper gaps, grille gaps, bumper gaps, etc?

How different is it from APC+ ?

    This is my problem...

    Thanks in advance.

You may have to scrub a little bit. The little booklet that comes with it says "As good as S100 is at it`s job, you shouldn`t expect the impossible. A bit of `elbow grease` will be necessary if you haven`t cleaned your bike in a while." They go on to say that with regular cleaning with S100, it should be spray, rinse and dry.

    I`ve never used APC+ so I can`t answer that.

    EricGTI--thanks for the kind words!

I don`t know if it is the same as Total Auto Wash since I haven`t used it. I don`t think the cycle cleaner stripped all the wax off since both bikes still beaded very nicely when I rinsed them off.

It works about as good as P21S wheel cleaner in a side by side test. You cannot let TCC dry though as it may streak if it does. I don`t know that it would be cost effective to use as a wheel cleaner though.

I went to my bike shop today looking for S100 Wheel cleaner, and they didn`t have any, so I purchased the Total Cycle Cleaner. I will evaluate them on my wheels tomorrow which have not been washed in about three weeks (ouch).

I will let you guys know. Previously I washed weekly simply with car wash to do the job.
