Ok, before you say use the search button, let me explain a little better. I have a friend that is rebuilding a 1967 Grand Prix and the vinyl on the doors are VERY, VERY dirty.

He is wanting a vinyl cleaner(not a dressing) that is fairly easy to use but doesn`t want to pay an outragious amount of money for it.

What`s some effective vinyl cleaner that would clean vinyl that hasn`t been touched since the late 60`s????

Water and a little car wash shampoo in a bucket make a good solution. Especially if there is a lot of dirt to remove. I would suggest using a two bucket wash method even. Rinse em` down and deposit the dirt in a pail of clean water. Then dry the panel with a clean soft towel, and apply your favorite dressing.

I`ve found EF Spot Remover from CMA to be useful for cleaning interior vinyl and plastics: http://www.properautocare.com/ai-32.html

I`ll have to go with TortoiseAWD, Eimann Fabrik`s Spot remover is amazing and affordable.
