I tried out a new quick detailer spray on my car that Scottwax sent me called ClearKote Quik Shine. This QD had me a bit curious because he had so many good things to say about it in his review.

After washing and drying the car, I started my usual QD routine. The first thing I noticed was just how slick the stuff was. Except for Z-6, this QD was much slicker than anything else I have ever tried. After testing it against Z-6, & Pinnacle Crystal Mist on several panels side-by-side, I would say that CK leaves a surface every bit as slick as Z-6 and definitely slicker than PCM. It also buffs out relatively easily.

All in all, this is a very good product that is easy to use and leaves an extremely slick surface. Furthermore, since it contains no silicone or carnauba, it would work well with something like Klasse.

Glad you like it. Maybe we can stir up enough interest for a group buy?

Quikshine doesn`t really have much of a smell that I have noticed. Their wax, Moose Wax (a very good one step) smells similar to Autoglym waxes.

I`m going to e-mail the owner of ClearKote and see how he feels about a possible group buy or if he can provide a list of distibuters (I pay less from a local distibuter than what he charges on his site, but I think shipping is included).

I do know that the Blockbusters in my area are selling ClearKotes CD repair spray.

http://www.clearkote.com/index.html is the link to their site.
