Are you looking for a chemical to dissolve the water spots, or a polish?
Looking for a process and product that works
The elusive glass polish...I remember seeing Mike Phillips saying that just before he left 3D he had worked to develop a glass polish that met his expectations, no idea where you can find out about his process, I guess there was a 3D forum? Oh wait, I found a video for you:

Just hard water stains can be removed with barkeepers friend. It’s a lot better than most glass polishes I’ve tried. If you need real correction for scratches, Ceriglass is excellent.
Not sure why my pictures are failing to upload. Any ideas. I’m trying directly from my iPhone.
always try to dissolve first. soak towels in vinegar, lay on glass and after a few minutes agitate. this can be time consuming but the safest method to try first. As a last resort go with abrasive but extreme caution here cause you can permanently swirl up the glass if too aggressive.
