I`m not "stuck on ONR". Please educate me to the other comparable products to this DIY Detail product, I`m not "stuck on ONR" but I am stuck using up my Flavor of the Month collection of products so I may be a bit out of the loop on what`s currently available.

I think it`s pretty hard to beat Duragloss for a rinseless wash. I never was a fan of the black wash mitt I got with ONR.

Agree. I love DG Rinseless. The only ding I can think of is its really more of a wash and wax. Adds a lot of bling, slickness and beading. I know some folks prefer not to have that. I like it and even use it as a spray wax.

I picked up a 16oz bottle of DIY rinseless and a 32oz bottle of absolute. Whatever one i like the most i will probably get a full gallon. I love RW products. I even use it around the house now. Cleans mirrors like a charm - i have N914. Maybe i will get a gallon of that but it`s not the slickest product, which i like. I did get the mckee`s big yellow sponge. I don`t want to use a black one..not my style.

Not many places to buy DG in canada. Always seems to get positive feedback however..

Shills is a derogatory term. Most of them are highly compensated niche marketing specialized fluid consultants. The service they provide is needed in order to grease the production wheel. It`s even better when you can find the products they endorse at your local discount store. It makes you feel as if you`ve won the lottery.

I don`t mind promotion of products, in fact it can be helpful. But to me any review is worthless unless you can compare it to another well regarded product and point out it`s strengths and weaknesses compared to that. Any top product can stand up to that. It`s when they don`t is when you know it`s schillarama.

It`s humor about people who are getting compensated for good reviews whether it`s youtube, amazon, facebook or autopia back in the heyday.

I feel like Yvan would promote pretty much anything as I’ve seen him everywhere. I’m sure their paid appearances.

But do agree in DIY case it’s probably a solid product as he is a co owner.

I agree he seems to always be positive when doing some promotional type video for whatever company he`s doing the video for.

However with that said I do think they`re putting out some very high quality products. He has the connections in the industry and knows how it works so I wouldn`t surprise me.

My problem is anyone can go to a blender and come up with their own line. Seems every YouTuber got a sponsorship or something.

I see everyone talking about “my chemist” but in reality it is most likely the blenders chemist who is the “chemist” for other brands. And I’m sure you can request certain blends and someone like Yvan might have a better idea of what he’s thinking and I’m sure it’s a good products.

Problem is like OG drying aid, Adam’s slick and slide and xtrene topper I’m sure their are a lot of overlap with these brands.

For all we actually know DIY could just be another arm of B&B.

I like the fact he talks about Rinseless being both surfactant and polymer base. Would be neat if he explained why the chose the combo.
