Griot`s Garage Ceramic 3-In-1 Wax duration

Are most of you who have used this spray and wipe LSP getting around 3 months protection?

    Anyone getting longer?

I`d say the "average" for this product is a minimum of 6 months. 9-12 months is doable under the right conditions and if two coats are applied 12 hours after one another on freshly prepped paint.

If I remember the dates correctly, I applied it to the wife`s car about four months ago and it seems to be going strong with only one coat.

Did two coats on my son’s car in early May. Car’s at college so can’t swear to it”s condition but son seems to think it’s still going.

I`ve gotten six months out of it on a daily driver that sits outside all the time. For the ease of use, the price point, and the fact that it`s locally available, it is tough to beat

I`m getting nice duration from the Griot`s as well. However, the car spends most of its time in the garage right now.

Have the Turtle Wax Graphene spray going on another car that`s outside a lot more. Also looks great so far.

The beading on both products is great.

Yup, for the price and ease of use, this is a hard product to beat even by the hardcore ceramic coatings.

Is anyone using this on black cars? My brother-in-law just picked up new Ram 4x4 Crew Cab, and his wife asked for a recommendation. This GG product looks promising, but wondered if an non-Autopian would have issues with it streaking.

It`s all about quantity control. I just read a review of how NuFinish Ceramic ruined someone`s paint. They were talking the half empty bottle back to the store...Griot`s Garage Ceramic 3-In-1 Wax duration

I used on ford shadow black. It’s fine but can streak. I sprayed directly in paint. 4 sprays on hood and 1 on pad to prime MF applicator and then 1-2 sprays per panel. Too much will streak.

I’ve found using it in a wet panel after washing works well. Not so much a drying aid as you’ll still need second towel if applying it for solid protection.

So it sounds like it prefers to be applied wet. I do that with Adam`s H2O Guard & Gloss, as part of a rinseless wash. With G&G I keep the application MF separate and soak after application. Maybe an MF applicator is a better option for them.

I think proetection would be stronger dry. Application was easier wet. Net time i may try a spritz of water on each panel when applying dry.

It’s better than wax just not as good as some sealants
