    BLACKFIRE Pro Ceramic Coating

I finally had the chance to apply the BLACKFIRE Pro Ceramic Coating I won in an Autopia giveaway over a year ago. The weather just would not cooperate when I had the time.
Before applying the coating I took the following steps.

    Mckee`s Iron Remover

Wash with 3D Pink Soap and Nanoskin AutoScrub Fine Grade Wash Mitt

Correct with Poorboy`s World SSR 2.5 Medium Super Swirl Remover

    BLACKFIRE Pro Primer Polish

Watching Mike Philips video made working with the coating super easy. I should also mention no high spots at all during the process. That even surprised me considering I was working on white. I`m super pleased with the results and my 10 year old Nissan Maxima SV looks great. Super glossy and super slick is the only way I can describe it.

The photos don`t do it justice. It was early in the day and the lighting this time of year is not great. I`ll try to top it during the winter months with BLACKFIRE SiO2 Spray Sealant weather permitting. Now to see how well it handles the wonderful New England winter.

Thanks so much again Liz and sorry it took so long.

    Vegas1:
What did you use for a buffer machine (or machines) and pads with the PBW SSR 2.5 and BF PPP?
Since I am too lazy to watch the mentioned video, what applicator pad did you use for this coating and what microfiber did you use for its removal?
Are there any "tricks" or special methodologies in its application and removal to prevent the high spotting??

Max looks better than great!!! Being 10-years-old, it may have a "few" miles on it. I assume it is your daily driver.
Having owned 2 Max`s in the past (1993 and a 2000), they are an affordable "performance" sedan. Wish they would come out with a AWD model for northern tier states who have winter weather and need (IE, can only afford just one) a year-round sedan.

Thanks for posting the pics. Better late than never...

    Thanks everyone.

I used a Griot`s GG6 with their orange foam correcting pads with the Poorboy`s SSR 2.5. Then switched over to Buff and Shine white polishing pads for the BLACKFIRE Pro Primer Polish. Don`t remember what brand of microfiber for removal. I do have about 10 microfibers that are my dedicated coating removal towels. As long as I soak them in Meguiars APC when I`m done using them and then wash them, I`ve never had a problem.

The Maxima is my daily driver and has about 105,000 miles on it. I purchased it back in 08 to replaced my beloved 2006 Infiniti G35X that served me well for 226,000 miles. The Maxima is a very nice vehicle but the G35X was a real 4 door sports car. I`m just not a huge fan of FWD. The Infiniti was a perfect fit for me. RWD switching to AWD when you needed it.

Once we move down south in a couple of years I`ll be able to purchase what I really want, a Mustang GT. My wife wanted me to purchase one when the Infiniti died, but I want to be able to drive the Mustang year round.

    Here`s The G35X.IMG_0744-21.jpg

The Blackfire Pro coating is definitely an enjoyable one to work with. I left a few sections on the rear bumper, and I`m just over two years of total durability with regular maintenance for the coating. It can definitely hold up to the test of time.

Car looks great. Always loved those years maxima. Agree in the RWD though. Had a 350z convertible and g37 convertible. The VQ engine was a thoroughbred.
