    Portable vehicle lifts

I`m mobile, and thinking about getting a portable car lift I`ve done some research.

Anyone here using one? If so do you have any recommendations on what brand or model to look for?

    Thanks!

I have a 7 k quick jack and love it! But be aware each side weighs about a hundred pounds. I’d get the extension if you do pick ups.

If you don’t need the 7k... 5k usually goes on sale at Costco for $999

    Re: Portable vehicle lifts

The 5K works great for my 4C and SLK, for the Smart I just turn the quickjacks to go across the car vs traditional method. As stated often on sale for $999 at costco (where I bought mine last year with free shipping).

One word of warning, if using for customer cars, be sure you know how to lift that specific car. There have been 4Cs ruined due to incorrect placement as the lift points are small squares of carbon fiber on the tub with no markings.

Below is from application of 2 coats CQ UK3 & Gliss to SLK and wheels earlier this summer. I applied both on the 4C last year, the GLS550 was also done this summer, that one was a lot of to prep and apply. No way would the 5K lift work on the GLS, too short and car weighs too much.

And give some thought to the underlying surface..don`t want to [mess] up somebody`s driveway/garage floor/whatever.

Sure not trying to be a wet blanket, this has me thinking "ah, good...clean wheelwells and undercarriages" along with the ease of doing the inner parts of the wheels more easily
