Dodo lime prime used to be a nice paint cleaner in Klasse Aio, Werkstatt Prime, P21 grouping.

    OK I am bumping this thread;
How about Lusso Car care Products and their wax Oro?
Someone within this forum probably has this wax sitting on the back shelf in their beverage `fridge in the garage they forgot about.
(For those who wonder about the `fridge part, waxes should be stored in a cool place to prolong their life span, which is what "discriminate" wax connoisseur Autopians did/do with hi-end waxes, like Zymol or Svisswax)

Lonnie, I could see a cooler being used for wax storage, but Ronkh, i think, told me not to store them in a regular fridge because of the dehumidifier (?)

Not sure the reason any more, but I quickly took out the waxes I had stored in there after he said that.

I store my Souveran at room temperature with no longevity issues.

As far as storing waxes in the refrigerator, here`s the thread on this subject from November of 2007:
Product Storage - Who actually keeps it in the icebox
Interesting note was to store them in Zip Lock bags or sealed containers to prevent them from drying out due to the de-humidifier/de-icing feature found on most modern `fridges today.

Speaking of waxes,do you know of anyone who has bought and used Chemical`s Guy`s Project J97 Ultra Refined White Brazilian Wax at $850.00 for an amount of product CG doesn`t even specify, other than the package weight is 4.2 pounds?
The subject of paying THAT much for a wax, is it worth it, and the logic or common sense (or lack thereof) of the buyer is not the question.
It`s kind of like buying a Ferrari; if you are concerned about the initial purchase price or operating/maintenance costs, it`s not the car for you.

Nope. Do not know anybody who`s ever bought that expensive Chemical Guys wax.

The most expensive one i bought was Fuzion, and that was at a massive discount due to some error on labels, or container, or something.

Right. IMO this Detailing stuff is a perfect example of Discretionary Expenditures/Luxury Goods; stuff that ya only spend $ (and time ) on after all life`s genuinely important stuff is all squared away.

I sure hope folks see it that way/ spend accordingly that way.

Would love to see a deep dive to find one of the first ever threads on here and what they were posting about

Predictably, *my* first post (pre-2000 as we hadn`t moved here yet) was about using BHBs to wash NOT off-topic as those particular BHBs are no longer available; finding decent ones is very challenging these days

How about p21 use to top my layers of klasse with it.
Unless you simply *can`t stand* the look of the KSG (which I can understand), I`d avoid topping it since, untopped, you can just keep refreshing the KSG indefinitely unless something cuts through it and actually mars the paint. Just thinking out loud and remembering what I went through doing all that layering when KSG was my go-to for some vehicles...

Re: Products You Don`t Hear Too Much About Anymore...

Well, since Sect Astronomy started this thread in July,2020 from my references to products you don`t here much about anymore, I have to add another product line to this list (again): WeatherTech`s Care Car Products.

It started with their vinyl mat cleaner, which is (was?) a natural fit for a company that manufactures and heavily advertises its aftermarket vinyl mats. Reference thread:
    Weathertech kit now out

Then WeatherTech branched out into washes and cleaners, but I never heard anyone in this forum "admit" that they bought and used these other products. Did see some tell that they bought and used the mat cleaner because cleaned and protected the vinyl mat without being slippery like many vinyl protectants are, but they are designed for interior dashboards and doors, not mats. Most vinyl protectants even warn against using them on floor mats because of the liability of accidental falls getting into vehicles due to their poor footage caused by their slipperiness. Just curious ...

Any, yes, other car-care product manufacturers have since come out with their own special mat cleaner and protectant that is not slippery.
