Looking at picking one of these up to have while polishing. I see from the specs it runs of a lithium ion battery, but can you run it off straight electrical plug power?

You can find a great review and pictures of this unit on DI. It has a power cord for charging; and you can run it while charging as well.

Something I`ve been meaning to do........ done!
Now I need to "rig up" an attachment to my tripod.
Just bought one recently - you`ll definitely need power closeby as it only lasts 1 hour on it`s brightest setting.
Excellent and portable light though.
Double check if you can get the diffuser with this one. You will thank me when you use coatings. It just get the Gyeon prism plus.

The UPS man was nice to me today..... small box = Scangrip. Easy to operate the different modes and this is a serious light!!!
