If you want to keep Moonlight as your base, pick High Gloss or Wulfenite as your maintenance topper for ‘high gloss’. They are two of my favorite detailing products, period. I personally think Wulfenite is the best on a solid, rich black paint. But High Gloss has a different look that really sharpens lines so ya never know on a given vehicle. High Gloss might hit a gloss meter better, but Wulfenite looks so rich on black.

Using Viking Spritz on top of Moonlight is sort of wasteful in my opinion. They both look great, both durable and strong protection.

In a perfect world I would use Wulfenite on your black Trans Am to top the Moonlight. Then I would pick another worthy vehicle that’s not black (particularly metallic) and apply Viking Spritz as the main base (or first sacrificial layer if putting on top of a true coating), and maintain with High Gloss to add the extra “wow”. Note: Viking is no slouch but High Gloss plays awesome on top of Cosmic and Viking Spritzes. If you do t have another vehicle in mind, this combo could be your later plan for the Trans Am.

I don’t recommend due to waste, but to literally answer your question if you plan on using all 3 products on the same car right now because your a wild detailer, the order, in my opinion would be Moonlight / Viking Spritz / Wulfenite / High Gloss (or use only one of Wulfenite / High Gloss).

Have fun regardless... all are fun to use and look at!

Basically what Acura said. I would try wulfenite on top of high gloss one side and other way around in other. Both should last at least 5 mo according to PA so i think to do this to find whats most visually appealing to you.

I use Cosmic on top of Cancoat which is similar to Moonlight so your viking should be fine. It’s a maintenance product for viking shield after all.

True. Viking Spritz would work totally fine on Moonlight I think.

    OP,
Don’t let my initial post worry you about trying this. You have a lot of choices and none are wrong. It depends what you’re looking for.

This is Viking Spritz and not Viking Shield, correct?

For both Cosmic and Viking, I like to wipe off almost immediately. High Gloss you can let sit a little longer but I would wipe in then wipe off right after for Spritz.

I brought out the Viking Spritz last night and tested a spot, since I don’t recall gold specks. I still don’t see any under a swirl finder light in my garage, haven’t checked in the sun yet.

Checking the website, I only see mention of Viking Shield having gold metallic flakes. Doesn’t mean Spritz doesn’t, but my eyes aren’t finding any.

I remember reading somewhere but can’t remember now. I read it a year ago before deciding between the two. I do know that Ronkh (RIP) thought or know it did also.

    RIP to Ron.

Yeah, the Spritz could have flake I just don’t see it, still haven’t checked in sun though... but the color of the spray is a bit like light syrup or dark honey, so it might be foreshadowing of some tiny flakes.

mikedell1265, just checking in. You confirmed the gold flakes were part of the product? How is everything going with your detailing?
