Are (some) Mckee and Optimum products the same?

As I am recently leaning about detailing and the products used, I had watched several Yvan Lacroix videos about Optimum products.

Then I came across this video of Yvan Lacroix doing a car wash with Mckee`s 37 products.
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xJh7VTXjrjg

It was like Deja vu, everything was the same as I had seen before. Interchanging the product names, it was like an Optimum video. Same methods (e.g. clay+wax), and same language like "synergy", "designed to work together", "dirt washing right off the mitt".

I would guess that (at least) the products in the video (rinseless wash, spray wax, spray sealant) are the exact same - just branded differently.

Curious if that could be the case?

Not the same that I`m aware of. He was probably just reading a script.
Someone in a Facebook group that I belong to posted a video of this guy saying we are suppose to use a pad washer during polishing . I wouldn`t pay much attention to what this guy is trying to sale you lol

I think this is a case of the salesman being the same, not the products.

There is no conspiracy here lol. Nick/Bob have their own chemists. Yvan is no longer with optimum and is with Lake Country. He is a consultant and teaches training classes on efficiency. This is what he is doing with McKee`s in this video.

This "who-makes-what-for-whom" topic was discussed some time ago (July 2006) in this forum:
    Who makes Zaino?
History repeats itself (OK, Captain Cliche. Besides, you usurped this old thread from the recent topic on New Poor Boys World Ceramic Products, otherwise you never would have known about it or found it. Captain Plagiarizer, I say...)
