I have never used wipe new, but something to consider is solution finish now has there own sealant meant to be used on top of the solution finish dye. I haven’t used it yet but will be buying some to try out.

How did that turn out .
I like SF RAW
When I tried SF and applied Gtechiq coating, it went from the Nice black to more a black-grey
If u want a really dark dye “that black stuff” has caught my eye I have never used cause I still have solutions finish to use up. That black stuff look to have a really nice flat black finish. I’ve only seen it on a few videos
I too like dyes alittle more than ceramics not for durability just based on looks and redoing it every couple months
SF topped with Pinnacle Black Label Ceramic Trim Restorer looks good. Nice and dark.
If the trim needs restoration then stick with SF and top it with a trim sealant. SF now has a trim sealant called over the top. If the trim is new then coating it will be a good option with reapplication once a year.

Just used Cerakote and it did a nice job darkening up trim.
It’s kinda shiny and uneven in some places (think might have been not removing all cleaning product).
Next time to smooth out and knock it down a little. I think i’ll level out with MF after application.
Application notes just said apply and let dry.
