Gee, that surprises me! My 1Z stuff in metal cans (and I have a scad of it) is staying OK despite the temps in the storage room getting kinda extreme (at least relative to the rest of the shop).

And yeah, the 3D seems to have zero effect on my LSPs, doesn`t even (completely) kill SprayWaxes, at least not with just one wash (I never get the durability from those that others seem to experience).
The Duragloss is actually a good one, too. But it seems to have some leave-something-behind stuff in it. It`s up there when it comes to lubricity. The gloss enhancers do add a little to the look. I `believe` it has some type of "drying agent" in it? Not sure about that last one.

haha. YES! I`ll have the 3D forever! I`ll report back, somewhere, if I do end up mixing the two. And no worries, Accumulator, I totally understand not getting around to trying some gifted products. I have at least 3 of those on my shelves. Actually....probably 5-8. Oh man.

Ultima paint guard wash works really well on coated cars. It can be a bit harsh on delicate Nuba tho as reset it. I think it’s better and cheaper than reset. If I recall it’s like a 500:1 dilution also but don’t quote that.

Oh dear. I totally forgot. I *think* I have that one. I bought it to use on a car that I polished using Ultima products. I wanted to try that soap on that car. Oops

JustJesus- Yeah, if the DuraGloss didn`t have that Cherry scent (that I`ve heard about) I`d probably try it. That`s a deal-breaker for me though

It`s been years since I`ve used it. But I think it`s more of a cherry medicine scent. That`s actually worse, right? hehe.

I still have an unused gallon of it.IIRC the scent was really rather mild. Otherwise I wouldn’t have used it. I might as well go ahead and use it once my Pink runs out.
Treat it like it`s the only one in the world.

JustJesus- If it`s artificial *enough* I might not mind so much.

Bill D- Mild huh? Eh, I`d hate to gamble given my usual, uhm...threshold of significance..to such things

    it cleans pretty good
foamed nicely in the foam gun also
people like it on Autogeek forum
the only reason I bought it was because autopia was out of the optimum car wash at the time

I battle the same issue as far as water hardness goes.....have yet to find any one soap that`s any better than another in that regard....I`ve read (haven`t tried it yet) that adding ONR to your bucket helps
