    Kamikaze red polishing pads

Anyone used them and have feedback? Looking for a good medium polishing pad to do a one step on black f-350 paint. My preference is a softer pad. They just seem to work best for me

I didn’t find them any better than any other, try Griot’s correction pads, orange boss pads.

    Re: Kamikaze red polishing pads

I`ve tried the Kami pads, have a set I pull out occasionally. They`re nice but I dont know if I`m smart enough to know whether they do anything great or not compared to other pads.

As an amateur, I find it hard to beat a yellow Rupes pad for one step stuff. Have the BOSS pads as well, nice stuff that I`ll use if a thinner pad seems to be working better for me that day.

Dont polish paint every day so sometimes inconsistent; one day I`m in the groove and can do no wrong, other days it seems I cant keep a pad spinning consistently on a long-throw to save my life.

The thicker Rupes pads seem to more to my liking overall...maybe a crutch for those times I struggle with efficiency but gotta do what works for ya.. whether it makes sense or not.

Swirl killer mostly. I have a pc with a 3” pad on it for the smaller bits.

@budgetplan I should have a 22ple insanity review for you in the next couple weeks

In that case the Rupes yellow as Budget mentioned. Another good one is the Lake Country Orange SDO.

Good deal! Was pondering giving it a go this winter, 22ple been good stuff in the past for me. Likely go another way though so looking forward to your thoughts.

Got kinda bummed out when VXPRO2 didnt do all that well over last 8 months; HPC has been fantastic for a few years now, March 2017.

Enjoy it, see its shipping already.

Another vote for the Rupes yellow, my most used pad.

    Re: Kamikaze red polishing pads

My vote is for rupes or urotech yellow (they seem to be the same to me) but I recently purchased some lc hdo orange pads (as referenced by the guz) and I used them today in conjunction with rupes yellow pads and I have to say I am really liking the lc hdo orange pads. Something about the thick backing layer with the soft foam on top is really nice for control, to me at least

I use a boss15 and don’t know how SK compares.... but love the boss pads. Orange and yellow for me.

I own a SK mini and it seems to like thinner pads.... don’t know if that helps
