Exclamation Megs rich leather conditioner (Pump)

    https://www.autopia-carcare.com/megu...l#.XPPiuPZFxjo

Is this stuff really that bad? I have a new bottle, but afraid to use it after reading the reviews over at the AG store. I have been using Mothers AIO leather care spray with great results, but the bottle is nearing it`s end.

    Less than favorable reviews...

I cant believe megs would put out a sub par product. And I realize you have to take reviews with a grain of salt.

I`d believe it. IMO they make mediocre (at best) products along with their good ones.

I you like your Mothers AIO, why switch?

Their Gold Class leather stuff is simply awful IME (having cleaned it off the interior of my pal`s old Jag...what a mess).

HEY...I entered the above before clicking on your links...you *are* talking about the Gold Class! Oh man, I sure hope it turns out better for you than it was on that Jag. If you use it (already spent the $, huh?), I`d sure make a point of cleaning it off, back to clean, bare leather, on a regular basis. When it builds up it`s sooo nasty!

I dunno if I`d even be using such stuff on your new Colorado, not that I know from its leather.

Well thanks for telling me how you really feel. LOL. No I did not use it yet, and looks like I will not. I will stick to what is tried and proven for me.

Heh heh, oooops, and here I thought I was taking it easy!

Eh, after what it put me through on the MKII...I wasn`t even supposed to be doing the interior, but I just couldn`t let it stay like that (hey, I might`ve been expected to sit on that [crap] some time). I didn`t even know what was on there until I asked the owner, not like I had any preconceived notions about the stuff.

PA - I used the Meg`s Gold Class on the seats in my Tahoe. NEVER again. Didn`t clean that well and didn`t do much else. As Accumulator pointed out, it does build up and it`s nasty. I use Griot`s now. much happier and seats are in great shape.

gordonjuan- Heh heh, I`m glad to see it`s not just one of those "oh, Accumulator..." things

FWIW, the leather in *my* Tahoe is really trashed, and/but/so it responds well to Leather Conditioners that "shouldn`t work" on its coated leather. On a newer vehicle, well...I dunno, even though all of *my* auto leather does respond to treatment, even the coated stuff.

I went with Blackfire leather complete.

I am sure I will find the product satisfactory.

Why would Meguiars put - Aloe - in a leather conditioner ?
My years of experience with this plant is that its oils have - healing properties - for the human body, inside and out..

Never thought how that could help a thin layer of who knows which quality cowhide..

Perhaps when the cow was alive???

Heh heh, that was a rhetorical Q, right?

    "Ooooh, aloe!..."

Teflon, Si, Ceramic, and now aloe...wonder what it`ll be next.
