    Mr Clean Magic Eraser Sheets

I’m going to buy these for use around the car. I can imagine many uses both inside and out. The nice thing is they can be cut to be used even smaller. I have a feeling I’ll use them in a variety of sizes I will cut. You might want to pick some up for around the house too.

I haven`t used the sheets yet, but I would assume they`re made of the same base material as the sponges. If so, be very careful on which surfaces you use them. The sponges have warnings on the package that they`re not for glossy surfaces, as they are abrasive.

No nothing glossy. I’m thinking very matte surfaces that don’t respond to APC and a MF.Certainly not paint either.

Re: Mr Clean Magic Eraser Sheets

I have scrubbed down the rough black plastic on my Explorer with an APC and Magic Eraser. It did the job better then anything I had found up to that point. Someone here mentioned trying it after going through a bunch of different things and processes.

    **** EDIT ****

This is in reference to the "sponge".

I’m betting the sheets will give similar results especially in tight areas.

Try them on one of your polishers, I just used a magic eraser a the G15, it needed a good cleaning.

Maybe it`s just me...or I`m missing something...but I think I`d relegate such things to exhausts and other (imperfectly finished) bare metal surfaces. But then I never use APCs any more either and it seems that many do, maybe it`s just another case where I`m, uhm...different.

I plan to put my car on the lift and look for spots on my exhaust and try these on!

Yes! With Mother’s aluminum polish. I think I use an electric toothbrush on my car more often than my teeth!
