CMX is a touch slicker, *seems* to have a bit more richness and depth to it v. CanCoat.

It could just be the lighting but the CMX side looks a deeper red and the CanCoat a bit more *pink* if that makes sense. You can see that difference on the edgdes of the panels in the photos. But as i said, it could simply be the lighting.

Re: New Mothers CMX CERAMIC SPRAY COATING

Applied the Mothers CMX yesterday. Car is my daily and is well maintained. Had a little protection from last sealant I used. I should have removed it all but I was anxious to try this stuff. Went on super easy. Wiped off just as easy too. It seems to have darkened the color just slightly which is a plus for me. If this lasts anywhere near 3-4 months that would be great for this weekend detailer.

Thanks for posting about the (apparently subtle) darkening effect, those of us who really do/don`t want that wouldn`t want a surprise after spending the $ for it.

Re: New Mothers CMX CERAMIC SPRAY COATING

Yesterday I prepped my new truck for CMX, which was delivered today.
I washed/clayed/polished with a DA polisher and Mother’s Pure Polish / isopropyl alcohol wipe down.
    The truck looks great!
Today I applied the CMX. I Didn’t notice any difference in the appearance.
It’s supposed to rain all night here in central NJ. I’ll post pics of the beading in the am.

Not bad at all. The horizontal panels are almost completely dry. I’m impressed with the beading. I’ll be applying a second coat later today.

Applied a second coat of CMX to my truck, and a first coat to my wife’s car. I really like this product.

Helo, welcome aboard!! The truck and the car both look great. How warm is it when you are applying the product?

I just picked up a bottle at Pep Boys. Once the weather breaks, I`ll try it on my pickup. Has anyone tried rinseless washes with the CMX? Does the wax component stick to CMX or wipe away?

What part of the country are you in and does CMX show up on your local Pep Boys inventory portion of the website?
