    Anyone try Dr Beasley Plasmacoat?

Has anyone tried the Plasmacoat, any real world reviews? Looks interesting and wondering about durability too. Thanks.

I used it a few weeks ago on a clients car for the first time so I can`t speak to durability claims but Dr. Beasleys says up to 2 years with proper maintenance. I usually half that for real world and if it lasts longer than even better!

The car is going to be coming back in, in a few weeks for maintenance wash and check up on the coating and i can provide a follow up but the owner did say even through all the rain we have had the past week the car still looks great.

I can speak to application. Its very easy to apply and remove if you work in 2x2 areas or smaller. There is no wait time to wipe off the product as it bonds with the paint instantly which is also nice so you dont have to play with the timer or anything. The wipe off is very easy and takes minimal effort to remove but I still used two MF towels - 1 for initial wipe and 1 for follow up to remove any residual from the first wipe.

Initially load the pad with a good amount of product and then after it only requires minimal product for each subsequent section. I cant really give you specifics on how much product to use as you will have to go by sight/ feel of the application on the paint. If you feel the applicator starting to grab you just add a little more product. Due to the consistency of the product I found using a wide Popsicle stick a nice way to butter the applicator. Its a very soft almost pudding like consistency. Its interesting for sure.

Here are some pictures of the car and this was the next day so it`s not fully cured. Like most coatings it`s supposed to harden and get better looking after a week.
