Re: Soaps : What`s your daily

For maintenance washes I typically use CarPro Reset, Gyeon Bathe, Mckees sio2 wash, optimum car soap or megs hyperwash. Depends on the time frame since its last wash and if it`s a coated car.

Pre soak foam - angelwax fast foam or gyeon foam (coated cars). I bought the 3d super presoak but havent tried it yet. Waiting for a neglected car to come through to see how it tackles road grime etc.

For customers/ neglected cars my current method has been angelwax fast foam and megs hyperwash in the bucket. Purple power vehicle and boat wash also great for stripping and dealing with road grime and is very economical.

Only issue with angelwax fast foam is it`s only available in 1L. Wish it came in a gallon.

Been using megs gold class for 10 years. Switched to optimum a year ago. Nothing wrong with gold class but I have noticed optimums suds were thicker and more creamy

I’ve got several I need to try, but Reset is the one I keep reaching for.

I like Gyeon Bathe, seems to do what I need...and the bottles look cool to me.

Wish they woulda skipped that Bathe Essence goo and just done Bathe in their 4 litre jugs.

I`ve started to narrow it down to certain ones that I prefer.

Adams, Meguiar`s Hyper Wash, CarPro Reset, McKee`s SiO2. Consolation prize would go to Shine Supply Shift.

Meg`s GC. I`ve tried most of the high end soaps and like GC the most. I usually find deals at the end of the season that make it an even better value.

I liked it. Good lubricity. Didn`t streak in the Louisiana sun. If I hadn`t just switched to CQuartz and bought Reset I`d keep using it.

Onr is my go to, but I primarily do rinseless washes since I don’t have access to a hose at home. When I have access to a hose, I like duragloss.

Huh, I`m always surprised when Autopians like GC.

Re: Soaps : What`s your daily

I`m currently using Optimum Car Wash, and it`s easily my favorite over all the others I`ve used over the years. I also like the Poorboys Super Slick with Suds.

I`m contemplating using Hyperwash when I run out of Optimum just to keep things interesting, but it may be overkill for my need to simply keep a couple well maintained and coated cars clean.

What about that ?3D?/?HD? (can`t seem to keep `em straight ) stuff that had some crazy dilution ratio? Anybody using/liking that?

Re: Soaps : What`s your daily

My washes are mostly rinseless, but every now and then I drag out the hose. I don`t see it mentioned often here, but Britemax has become my absolute favorite soap. Superb lubricity and thick suds. I started with 1/2 oz. per gallon and I could probably go leaner with the mixture and still not sacrifice lubricity or sudsing ability.

Re: Soaps : What`s your daily

Best I`ve tried are Optimum Car Wash, CarPro Reset and Poorboys Super Slick + Suds.

I thought 3D Pink was junk. Didn`t really understand why people liked it.
