It works on everything, glass included. There is zero hype to this product IMHO. I have been using this for 2+ years now. When I find a better product for what I use it for I will switch.

As my boy Donny said dont go trying and buying everything you see. We all have a bin filled with stuff that works just fine but we want more!!

Anyway if you are interested its def worth trying, no BS here.
Thanks man! Id like to say that the product may be great, I trust your opinion and I worry cause you are on his "team" every year for the Detail Mafia or whatever it is polishing Air Force One so I think you are a little skewed. All that being said Eric has a bunch of awesome cars going through his shop every day and does some of the best work I have seen. Just want the OP to know the whole deal. We have had this discussion about Reny lol. So I may also be biased the other way!!! LOL take my comments with a grain of salt in a wound too. Love ya still man!!!

Re: P&S Bead Maker - Marketing and hype or is it really that good?

I`ve been using BM for a couple months now, and I must say, I love it. Everyone has their own "opinion" and "go-to" product, but for what it costs, I would definitely try it. I`ve used it as a drying aid and used on a dry car and I`ve found that it makes the paint POP more when using it on a dry surface. I try not to over use the product, as others have said, it`s really not necessary. The guys over at P&S are top notch and know their stuff. They`ve been in the business of blending their own products for 30+ years, so don`t let the blending videos that Scott from Dallas Paint Correction scare you. P&S came up with the chemistry of this product and blends/bottles themselves (from what I know).

This is a very saturated market and any of us could start our own company selling Sio2 detail sprays, quick detailers, APC`s, etc. Just do your research and form your own opinions. Bead Maker is a phenomenal product and if you`ve noticed, it`s been around for years but is just now blowing up. P&S likes to keep the "hype" under the radar and let their products do the talking and the industry experts and prosumers will follow!

Is Bead Maker an SiO2 spray? The advertising says polymers, no mention of SiO2.

Can I be honest? I`m skeptical that many of these Si02 sprays have negligible amounts of Si02 in them at all. We all associate Si02 with great water beading and "coating friendly" so you basically have to say Si02 for any new product. But look at Fast Finish it is supposed to be polymer based but I bet if they said it had Si02 we`d all just nod our heads.

Probably right. The polymers create beading and provide protection. I guess the SiO2 remains for hardness and durability. But we will never know if it is the SiO2, the polymers, or the resins that create the gloss we are seeing. I’m not sure it matters.
