I plan on picking some up on my next order. The 1:640 to 1:1280 spray bottle dilution ratio is insane. I`ll put it in a 3 gallon garden sprayer and go to town.
If my son ever gets my PW back I plan ob trying it my foam canon 1st by it`s self and if 1 or 2oz wont foam with my hard water I will add some Fastfoam or Gyeon foam. I have been waiting almost two weeks to try it.
My car right now should be a good test for it, since it hasn`t been hand washed since May 23rd and was last through a touchless July 10th. Since then it has been sitting outside 24/7 and driven in the rain at least a dozen times so should have plenty of road grime on it.
Even with those facts it still looks clean in the outdoor light thanks to color and Gyeon Syncro..
a couple pics
i can`t even find the product on 3D`s site - only AGO
What do you all typically look for in a pre-soak? Just curious...This is one part of detailing that I do but still dont know if it really has all that much benefit with all the pH prefoam products.
If we are talking about lubricity would not a majority of the soaps just work in a foam canon to provide that lubricity and carry as much dirt off the panel?
When I think presoak I think of a product that can really cut into the road grime/ built up dirt that pressure washing alone can not tackle. Yet, most of the prefoam soaps I have don`t really do a great job of this at all.
Griots Surface Prep. Pre Soak. Anything that helps get`s gunk off before the mitt hits the panel for me.
Depends on dirt. Weekend warrior not so much. Daily driver driven through rain, etc.
A bit of alkalinity but non-caustic. Some foam for dwell but not super shaving cream thick foam - I want most of it to have run off by the time I pressure wash it off in 5-10 minutes. I could care less about lubricity as a true prewash should always be rinsed off the paint before your bucket wash step. Should not be interchangeable with a regular shampoo. Basically a foamy, watered-down APC at the end of the day.

Never heard of the term "pre-soak". Do all pre soaks strip wax and seals if any? If so is it only meant to be used just before your re-wax or seal?
taken from the link above.
3D Super Pre-Soak packs some additional benefits. The high pH level of 3D Super Pre-Soak not only breaks down dirt and grime, but also strips off old waxes and sealants
