    Issues with hydroBlue?!?

I bought a gallon of hydroblue and really like it. I poured some into a 16oz bullet bottle with grey talco sprayer and hung it in my garage. I went to use it yesterday and noticed it was more green then blue, with a blue gooey ring at the level of fluids and the solution looked like it had glass particles floating in it. It still sprayed out just fine. I only used it on my wheels. But is there something about not storing hydroblue in a spray bottle? Or in the hot garage? What would have caused this? The blue gooey stuff sprayed out a bit and stuck to the wheels. Not a big deal for the wheels, but wouldn’t want that on my paint

If you don’t like the green color contact Nick at McKees and he will replace your bottle. The green color change is due to the lack of UV blockers (or something like that). Nick says the color change does not hinder the effectiveness of the product.

We`ve since updated the formula with new UV-light stabilizers, so the color change will not happen with current/future batches.

Rest assured the color change does not affect performance.

Can Hydro Blue or Hydro Blue Pro be applied on warm surfaces? Warm as in 90F+ typical under a Southwest summer.

You have the rare special edition Hydro Green. Shake it up and use it.

It`s preferable not to use on a hot surface or in direct sun. If you do, watch for streaking, be quick about it and use it on a panel/ half a panel at a time.
