    A Paint Prep. story continued

    Trying to find something
not too grabby on my wipe downs.

I did try a home brew

    10 ozs. of IPA

    10 ozs. Distilled

1 cap full of Sodium Lauryl Sulfate
    as a mild foaming agent

    1/2 oz. of scented oil

I tried it up against Rustoleum W&T remover,
    and WGs Perfekt paint prep.

    On my trunk

    I smeared this

The Rustoleum left a oily film I could feel. Smelled.

The Mix worked nice, crisp, clean, with almost no grab,
but stunk of IPA even after the added scent oil.

The WG now that blew them both away ! No grab,
cleaned well without an oily film and great scent !

So I tried adding a cap full of SLS foam agent
    to Eraser

The Eraser left a streaky film, and WGs wiped clean.

This is the center where the 2 products meet,
WGs on left and Eraser on right.

I ordered a gallon of WG Perfekt Paint Prep.

Thanks for doing this Mary!! I finished off my eraser and bought a few bottles of Blackfire paint prep.
Once I finish those I`ll be buying WG.

I’ve been using WG for awhile. It was on sale (bogo) and I picked up 6 bottles. Good stuff.
