    Heh heh, I actually watched that link, and I never watch Detailing `tubes!

    I agree with the basic premis- IPA is a poor solvent for stripping paint. It never worked well for me, period.

    BUT...it never swelled paint for me either (observed it under magnification), and I never had issues with it flashing too fast, and I`d expect *anybody* to realize that a longer dwell-time than he demostrated is required for most such work. He also avoided the "what strength of IPA?" topic.

    Eh, I guess I just didn`t like the way he argued a point that I do consider valid, namely- To strip paint, use something that`s made for that. But people debate which products made for that are OK too..luckily I`ve just never had problems other than differences in performance (IPA poor, Prep Washmuch better), which I do find a bit interesting since I`ve been doing this stuff for so long.
