A couple new QDs in the arsenal

I`m always on the lookout for the next great detail spray. Since the WRX is coated I usually just do a wipe down with a detail spray after washing. Just picked up these 2 but have not used them yet. Anybody have any experience with either?

Best of show is excellent! Doesn’t leave a lot behind so it doesn’t hamper the coating.and works great in the sun. Although not on the label, I use it as a drying aid also. The ultima I always got streaks, but could have been user error?

I have used the Ultima Detail Spray+ and liked it. But for me it was to similar to the Ultima Waterless Wash+ so I decided to stick with the Waterless Wash since I buy it by the gallon and can mix it to a detail spray ratio. It cleans well and leaves a slick surface.

If you like a high gloss sealant pop with slickness check out the Ultima Acrylic Waterless Wash. The same great cleaning but even glossier and slicker surface.

The Griots Best of Show is great (and I agree about the bottles, looking for a place other than Griots to get them). Great LSP for already coated cars. Also as noted above, great drying aid. Smells like candy and it really brings paint to life (I really like it on silver).

Got a chance to use the BOS detailer yesterday and yes it is very good. It looks like it`s going to be my new go-to QD spray (which was previously the gloss shop quick detailer). I wish I could find the same sprayers that Griots uses because I would switch every spray product I have.

You can get the sprayers directly from them for $3 each, the bottles for $2 each. I`m sure you can find them cheaper if you knew what they were, just thought I`d share that they are available without product.

Agreed. BOS QD is great and has unseated Adams as my affordable quick-flashing shine-adding QD.

The Griots sprayers are available through US Plastics for very cheap, but shipping can be expensive there for small quantities.
One word of caution is you must use a bottle that necks down when using the Griots-style sprayer. I learned the hard way.

I switched most of my bottles over, best on the market IMO. US plastics too.

The sprayer size is 28/400, so any bottle set up for 28/400 will fit the sprayer. The sprayer is made by Delta industries, so just search on us plastics for Delta industries bottles and find one that is 28/400.

True, it`ll fit, but as I said earlier, the sprayer works best on bottles that "neck down" like the Griots bottle and many others. The reason is that the Griots-style sprayer has a long trigger that will hit the side or neck of some bottles, and without the full extension of the trigger, it might not prime.

I agree, however there are at least 20 different bottles on the same site that neck down and work just fine with that sprayer. The same company makes necked down bottles identical to the one on griots site for 70 something cents instead of 2 or 3 dollars. There are only so many bottle and spray makers and distributors.
