    Griots BOSS system

So I gave Griots BOSS correcting and finishing cream a try yesterday. AWEsome stuff. The working time is amazing, it just goes and goes and goes. Totally stoked on that. Wiping off is a bit harder than I like but I found the trick is to use as thin a layer as possible and then it buffs off much easier. Nice shine, really clean paint!

Glad to hear it! Yeah the key is once you have the pad working you only need very little to continue.

The cutting ability of the Fast Correcting Cream on the white foam pad on my Boss 21 has surprised me a few times.

Fast Correcting cream is great. One of the best compounds currently available. Have not used any of the others Boss creams.

Mike Lambert, how much product do you add for a 2 foot by 2 foot area once the pad has been primed?

oldford, you put 1 or 2 small drops. But then as you work you realize that you can keep going and going and end up polishing almost your whole hood cause this stuff just keeps spreading.

Fast Correcting cream is amazing. Cuts slightly less than M101 but finishes way better and doesn`t dust hardly at all with MF pads. I personally stopped buying correcting cream and finishing sealant. FCC cuts amazing and finishes near LSP ready with foam. The Boss cream abrasives cut a lot like Meguiars SMAT abrasives except the thicker boss creams are easier and far more enjoyable to use.

Completely different abrasive technology, try the finishing Sealant on a white fast cut foam pad for that really sensitive paint. It will amaze you!

    Re: Griots BOSS system

I love the BOSS creams. Only issue is my FCC has turned into a watery like consistency. Not sure how it affects it as I have been using other compounds in its place till i can figure out if I have to replace it but Correcting Cream/ Perfecting Cream are great and I use them regularly on one step jobs.

I believe that the abrasive stays the same throughout the buffing cycle and being so much smaller provides a better finish. So you can work longer without any of the annoying things such as supplemental wetting agents and using damp pads etc.as far as the consistency, I’d call them, I’m sure they have an answer.

Mike lambert- That smaller abrasive size sounds good, and flexibility in work-time would certainly be all-win.

And heh heh, nah, at the risk of sounding cynical, I`m never gonna call anybody to ask why their stuff is better/different/etc. from something else

He was wondering about the consistency of the product.
