JustJesus- I hear you on that! Even though I really do think the LeatherDoctor stuff is the best thing to use, I sincerely doubt that it`ll really matter *what* I use as long as I don`t do anything really goofy. I`m not gonna spend a ton of time/effort on this stuff unless I have a really good reason.
I think this is also dependent on the current state of the leather... and what type.
I have two older vehicles with a very noticeable "coated" leather. Which is very slick/shiny.
On one of them the coating has started to degrade. So I have to be careful with what I use to clean it.
I use a very mild mixture of Leathermaster Cleaner for cleaning and a soft sponge.
After I use black shoe polish to cover the degraded portion of the leather, (it`s basically carnuba that is black) and it works out well.
For my newer car the leather is more like actual leather. So it being more porous and in much better condition I use just a regular mixture of Chemical Guys leather cleaner, and a brush. Then finish it with Leathermaster protectant.

For an all in one, I really like Meguiar`s D18001 Leather Cleaner and Conditioner, but you have to buy it by the gallon. It cleans really well, even removes denim and ink stains that are moderately fresh, smells good and doesn`t leave the surface covered in slime. I wonder if any of the consumer line is the same stuff in a different bottle?

At least as far as the product description/claims it seemed similar. I`m genuinely interested in what makes the two products different. I have felt good about the results with 303 but as with most people here, I`m always searching for the next thing to try I`m a little concerned about the banana scent!
1500Canoe- Heh heh, never mind me and my dislike for 303...

Eh, they make a big deal outta their UV protection and if that`s a (genuine, valid) concern then OK..but for stuff like plastic/rubber trim I don`t go for that Slime Approach on anything but tires (and I can understand others who use Coatings on those, just afraid I`d botch it up or do damage or something.. not broken = don`t fix).
303 isn`t slimy to me, it ends up dry to the touch with a hint of shine. Not like AA slimy.
That said I don`t use it on leather.
Put me in the camp that likes 303. I’ve been using it for years and haven’t found anything that works as well on rubber and interior plastics. I use their cleaner then follow up with the protectant and it works well. 303 Fabric Protectant is unbeatable for fabric convertible tops. Much better than that Rag Top stuff, ugh.
Two things I don`t like about ragg top. One I hate the aerosol delivery. Two it just doesn`t seem to be nearly as hydrophobic. 303 fabric protectant is awesome stuff. I`ve been happy with the convertible top cleaner too.
I`ve never tried the 303 apc cleaner though.

Making someone else happy, is one of the best feelings.
In my limited use, it`s worked well. On a pretty trashed interior it cleaned up some vinyl armrests and etc. that were gross. On a fabric seat it took out a grease stain completely. The important thing on the fabric is to spray it on, agitate it with a brush, then use a damp towel to wipe/lift the stain.
Other cleaners may be cheaper or just as effective but I can say that it`s worked well in my limited use.
