Re: Name the products that you buy again and again, and why

    Lots of Poorboys stuff

    Spray and Wipe
    Spray and Rinse
    Bug Squash
    Super Slick n Suds
    Iron Remover
    APC+D (INSANELY economical)

    Non poorboys stuff

    Carpro PERL
Mckees 37 Trim detailer (only dressing I can find in aerosol form for doing tight spaces)
    Megs Synthetic X-Press Spray Wax
    Tuf Shine Tire Cleaner
Eco Green Carpet Care and Upholstery Cleaner

Most of these items I have bought by the gallon more than once.

You mean, like...."shouldn`t that be FK1000P writ large?" instead of being buried in the list?

Eh, at least it`s on the list, but I`m still working on my *first* tin of FK1000P and it probably has years` worth of applications left. At maybe 12 years (probably more) per tin, I won`t be buying very much of it.

OPC. It`s a little pricey but it really is my favorite APC. A little goes a long way 1 dilution ratio gentle enough for leather strong enough for engines.
#845, It may be a while before I need another bottle.
IUDJ: It does so much stuff really well: glass cleaner, interior cleaner and detailer, rinseless, clay lube, QD, spray wax, great pre treat for road salt residue, bug and bird sh!t remover. I might get my arm twisted to try UWW+ for the price point but it`s going to be really hard.
Speed Master Pro Wheel Brush: Only wheel brush that will not snap or have all the bristles falling out. They don`t make them anymore but mine is 5 years old and going strong. It` useless on fine intricate rims but if they have room the brush is a beast. It`s about as close to the perfect wheel brush I have used.

Hyperwash- economical, foams nicely and coating safe.

McKees foaming wheel cleaner gel- It works plain and simple.

Hyper dressing- economical and user friendly

Pretty much most of the Mckees 37 cleaners. From carpet and upholstery cleaner, total interior cleaner, leather cleaner etc.

3D Yellow degreaser: It just works and at a great price.
3D Towel Kleen: Same as above

Gyeon Wet Coat: I just really like this product
Gyeon Tire: A perfect Tire dressing for the way I like my tires to look.
Gyeon CanCoat: Whats not to like. A coating in a can!

Duragloss 902 Wash: Good and economical soap.

I like to experiment with to many other products. So a short list for me.

To the original poster (OP- WaxAddict) of this topic thread: THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!
You must have read my mind because another name for this thread topic is: "Your List of the Best/favorite Product(s) for Specific Detailing Tasks"
I was hoping to start a similar thread, now that the vehicle detailing season is about to begin in earnest after the winter-weather hibernation/cessation. I am looking to replenish my detailing products arsenal, so these suggestions from my fellow Autopians could not have come at a better time.

Chrome Polish: Meg`s M105 Compound for cleaning rust from chromed metal (good way to use it up, IF you have shelved this product due to its dusting characteristic during machine compounding), Optimum Metal Polish for chromed metal for mild cleaning and total polishing ; Simi-Chrome or MAAS metal polish for Interior chrome OR chromed plastic
Lexan/Plastic Lens Instrument Panels: Meg`s No. 17 Plastic Cleaner and No.10 Plastic Polish and a soft Korean-made chamois/suede-type microfiber
Navigation/Touch screens: Plexus Plastic spray and a soft Korean-made chamois/suede-type microfiber
Wax: Collinite 915 Marque d`elegance Wax (cost-effective "boutique" (AKA, high-end) wax that looks great and LASTS, if you like the quintessential carnauba-gloss look. I do!)
General Cleaning: Meg`s D101 All-Purpose Cleaner (cleaned ALOT of interiors (carpets, vinyl, coated leathers, fabrics, rubber floor mats) with this; use this for wheel-well cleaning because I am out of OPT Power Clean)
Engine Degreaser and Wheel Wells: Optimum Power Clean (best degreaser, but it is (somewhat) expensive. One of the ONLY cleaners I`ve used for road-paint removal in wheel wells before having to resorting to thumb-nail scraping or Goof-Off)
    GB detailer

    In no particular order

    - Poorboys SSS
    - Poorboys DMT coral MF towels (LOVE these)
    - Poorboys Bug Squash
    - McKees 914 Rinseless
    - McKees Hydro Blue
    - Griots PFM
    - McKees SiO2 Auto Wash
    - McKees Extender Spray Wax
    - FK1000p
    - Grit Guards / Washboard

Some of these are more in the category of "buy once, and last awhile", but i guess if I lost / Broke them, wouldn`t take me 2 minutes to reorder more / replacement.

I’d really like to see your application process of Hyper “dressing”

Made me think for a second, then I realized you meant “wash”.

    Aaaah!

HD Speed. Love this as well. Protection it leaves isn`t too durable IME but gives a nice finish and is versatile.

I have some McKees fast polish still to try out as well - hmmm.

Ahhh... THE LIST, the highly sought and ever so secretive list. You must first learn the secret handshake, found only in the Sorcerers 2nd Volume of Dark and Magical Detailing. You must also have been awarded the Crystal Orb of Golden Random Orbitals and Cashmere MicroFibers then become a Wax Waster of the First Order. Then and only then after years of practical application as an apprentence to one of the Twelve Master Detailers can one be considered for THE LIST.
A society willing to trade liberty for temporary security deserves neither and will lose both
