    The Last Cut Compounding Glaze

Have any of my fellow Autopians used the Last Cut Compounding Glaze, Retail Link Removed or know anyone that has tried it?

    Thanks in advance,

I`ve used it on several vehicles. I`m on my second 16oz bottle. I would highly recommend it.

I have never posted a thorough review since it`s not sold here, however.

    512detail,

Can you go from cutting to finish out or do you have to follow with a polish.
    Thanks in advance

Well of course that depends on lots of factors, but there are people who can do that. I have been able do that on some paint finishes with certain pads and speeds.

You can go to the internet and find people with videos using this product who seem to be able to do so.

I generally always use a finishing polish but I`m just crazy like that.

I realize that you have to use different pads and speeds.

I now Use Optimum Hyper Polish and finish with Optimum GPS. Do you think I would gain anything by substituting The Last Cut for Hyper Polish?

    Thanks in advance

if you are still going to do both steps, probably not.. you might get some more cut or longer working time out of the last cut (but I`ve never used OPT polishes so I can`t really compare)

you might also use this and realize you really like it, as a lot of folks have, including myself.

The only thing I can compare this product to that I`ve used very much of as well is Polish Angel Master Compound

Come on guys, out of all the professionals on this forum I find it hard to believe that 512detail is the only one that has used this product.

It’s a very new product, or at least had no real market presence until just recently. The maker is sold out, as is rag co (16 oz), and my local shop carries it and said they just got it in and sold out in a week. Give it some time and more people will have experiences to share. Or, as soon as there is supply just buy a bottle and try it out; it’s not a huge expense to take a flyer on.

Re: The Last Cut Compounding Glaze

I`m on my third 32oz. bottle of TLC. Jace is about the nicest guy you`ll meet but the truth is that even if he was a prick I`d still use TLC. It`s that good. It`s easily the best 1-step compound I`ve used and it`s surprising to me that Jace was able to produce a compound that allows microfiber cutting pads to stay cool and not clog up the fibers which even leading compounds like D300, FG400, M100, and even Scholl`s S3 GoldXXL will do. This is a bold claim but I honestly think it`s twice as good as Fast Correcting Cream which is pretty incredible for those of us that use and love FCC. I`ve used nearly every single compound on the market and there really is nothing that compares to it. It`s great on Rotary with wool, Long-throw and microfiber, and virtually and foam pad I`ve tried it on. It works on the hardest paints and the softest. It cleans out of pads incredibly easy and smells amazing. It`s from the future.haha

I have a 16oz bottle that I purchased due to all the great reviews from the guys on social media. I have not had a chance to crack it open and use it just yet but I hear nothing but great things. If you are not sure you could always pick up a smaller bottle to try out.

I pre ordered a bottle to try out. I don`t really have a go to compound, unless I`m using my rotary then it`s HD Cut+.

Great! Do you use this with a rotary as well, or just DA?

Re: The Last Cut Compounding Glaze

It`s FANTASTIC on rotary. It`s lubricating oils make using TLC run incredibly cool when paired with a lambswool or Foamed Wool buffing pads. I just used it today on my Dewalt 849x and the Lake Country 6" Lambswool cutting pads. Let us know what your experience is. TLC has the ease of use of a finishing polish like HD Polish+ except it cuts like a heavy compound. It`s really remarkable how versatile it is.
