    Scholl Concepts polishes....

Surprised they didn`t sell well for AG. I find them to be extremely good! S3 XXL, S20 Black and S30+ always give top notch results for me. Tried about 6 different finishing polishes on soft black paint I was working on, and S30+ easily finished the best. I have S40, but haven`t tried it yet. Any other Scholl fans?

On the long throw i.e. Rupes or Boss - no more then speed 4.5 and and 4 drops of product to start with then usually drop down to 3 and work smaller area.
When I first started using it I was loading up on a bit too much product and speed 6 and found it dusted like crazy. Ofcourse temp and humidity etc. play a role.

I basically just followed the CarPro instructions a lot more closely the 2nd time around and had much better results:

    https://www.carpro-us.com/latest-arr...0-black-16-oz/

    Application:

    1. For best results use Scholl Concepts white Spider Pad or Navy blue Spider pad.
    2. After spreading across 2-2.5 Ft area on low speed, work at speed 4-5 applying moderate pressure through the first half of the cycle.
    3. Next use progressively lighter pressure until finished down. Machine speed varies based on machine and paint.
    4. Once completed, buff off the faint residue using our Yellow Fellow microfiber towel.
    5. Clean pad
    6. Use only 3-5 pea size drops for each additional section (depending on pad size), repeating steps 2-5 after each section.

I have both and S30+ definitely wipes off easier. S30+ finishes VERY good!

What about the Scholls Pads ?
The spider Blue & S20 nice med. combo
Just looking into the Honey spider, my 1 and only feels as soft as the Rupes White.
I have 2 sizes of the Purple, they seem to be similar to the yellow ?

All the spider pads are pretty nice. The purple definitely has more cut than the honey, IMO. The blue spider is very stiff, but cuts and finishes well.

I tried S3 compound and was impressed with the cut but disappointed at how much fill it had. Maybe I didn`t work it long enough but it`s not a winner for me.

Other than M105, M100 and M101, every compound I`ve tried has filled and I`ve tried a lot.

When working on soft sticky paint there is truly nothing that I`ve found that stays lubricated quite like S3 Gold, S20 Black, or S30+ other than HD Polish+. Alot of people compare them to menzerna but in my opinion other than the diminishing abrasives they are completely different from anything else on the market. S3 Gold is the only compound I`ve found that actually removes easily even when completely overworked. Even though I adore HD Polish+ and I always reach for it first for all of my one step jobs. S30+ is every bit as good if not better. I wish Autopia would start carrying the Scholl`s line up again. Unfortunately AG and Autopia do not sell any other compounds or polishes that actually perform better on softer/sticker paints than on medium/hard paints like Scholl`s.

Interesting to hear. Scholls doesn`t get mentioned really at all.

Scholl & Menzerna compete toe to toe in the German OEM refinishing market. There are zero fillers in all Scholl compounds. Don`t mistake long working carrier solvents for filling ability. Not the case
