Rinseless conversion to Mckees SiO2 soap washing

Time for new towels. No water restriction in by area. I was doing rinseless wash using the GDM. But when McKees brought out their SiO2 soap, I fell in love. So now I am using this instead of rinseless, still using the GDM. I am kind of anal so I use 30-32 Towels, I wash the car completely before rinsing. I am trying to make up my mind between Shineys 530 GSM Korean towels with medium nap and plush on both sides and The Rag Company’s Minx 380 GSM, plush on both sides with longer nap.
I only need to buy 15 towels because they are both plush on both sides equaling 30 towels.
Have any of my fellow Autopians used both towels?
    Thanks in advance.

Wow 30-32 towels per wash. Even when doing a bucket wash?

I bought a minx and do not like it. Doesn`t absorb for squat. Left too much behind even with a simple detail spray. Good thing I only purchased one to test out. Won`t be buying any more and will be relegating to something else instead of the painted surface.

Some good towels to look into are the eagle edgeless from TRC, the griot`s PFM even the smaller ones and maybe a good ole` fashion waffle weave. TRC just released their new edgeless 600 towel.

kajunman- I like your approach to this rinseless washing...even if you did pass on the BHBs we discussed

I too would like to hear how the Minx (I don`t care about absorbency as I`d only be *(rinseless) washing* with `em) compares with those from Shiney`s. Gotta say the Shiney`s ones sound tempting...never knew that place even existed before he posted here.

So the nap on the Minx is *longer* than that on the Shiney`s? I somehow missed picking up on that when I was looking at the two...
