Every Day Guy, Job, Dad, Cars, What`s the Best AIO Wax To Save Time?

    Hi everyone,

I am not a frequent member, but I`ve been coming here for years whenever I need a tip or advice regarding car care.

As my thread titles suggests I`m pretty busy and work a lot. I have my 6 year old son a lot too and among other things I just don`t have the time for spending an entire day going through a 3-step+ process.

I do take the time to clay my car and truck once or twice a year. I have a Porter Cable DA polisher and CCS pads. And am just looking for a consensus on what you all recommend as the best AIO for your every day vehicles?

I want something that will hopefully last at least 2 months or so, but longer of course is better. I typically wax my vehicles 2-4 times a year either during each season or at the start and end of winter.

    Thanks in advance!

Where are you from? Maybe someone here would be willing to come help etc. I would go with HD Speed personally.

I`ve got a bunch of AIO`s on the shelf, but for DD use I seem to reach most often for two Duragloss products, 501 and 105.
DG501 has superb cleaning properties, but DG105 has better longevity. If the paint`s in reasonable shape, the mild cleaning of 105 is all it needs. For the first cleanup after a long winter, I`ll go with 501 (mixed 4:1 with DG601 for the added longevity and instant curing properties), then follow with the 105 whenever time allows.

If I was going to do a one step polish and seal I would go with CarPro Essence. For a few bucks more you could apply McKees Paint Coating after Essence and not have to do anything to your car for 12 months except maintenance wash thus saving you more time.

    beastykato- Welcome to Autopia!

IMO the minimal additional time involved justifies applying a long-lasting LSP over top of the AIO. Like FK1000P. Talking *minutes* and it`ll last *so*much longer/protect so much better.

You`ll really like Wolfgang Uber if you want decent polishing with your AIO. It works and looks amazing, with no marring. Yep, AIOs can need a second step on come paints. Seems to defeat the purpose.

I also like Finish Kare AIO (forgot the number), and it`s cheap.

    This^^^^

You can top Speed with a LSP after a few weeks. I know you don`t want to spend too much time. Just wait till everyone is sleeping and sneak out to the garage. I love BFWD sealant on top of Speed.

How is the BFWD sealant durability on top of HD Speed? I never thought of that.
I usually top with HD Poxy.

Coating is my initial thought as well. It`s the ultimate time saver.

Another vote for HD Speed, I love how easy it is to use and how much it actually cleans the paint. You can quickly top with HD Express and that should give you some time before having to hand apply another LSP.

For production aio it would have to be Meguairs D151 with a pad that fits the condition of the paint that you will be working on.
