    Re: Question about coating

Wowza, lotsa space! Id think whatever coating you go with youll need AT LEAST a 50ml bottle, or whatever the largest size you can find is. Possibly 2.

Im sure someone on here at one point or another has coated a semi truck and can chime in

    Re: Question about coating

I would order 2 x 50 ml Gtechnig Exo. Not to expensive and you will have enough to do 2 costs I think. We`re talking can only right. It lasts about 18 months but it is somewhat dependant on wear and tear and maintenance. Perhaps gloss coat as it`s very durable.

Just might need 4 tubes for 2 coats.

    Re: Question about coating

Thanks for your response. I would like to try something like this but, when it gets washed, the chemical are strong. So, I don`t want to spend alot and it isn`t going to last any longer than a regular wax / sealant.

    Re: Question about coating

The Gloss coat is pretty chemically durable. I have washed my Opticoated cars (I was 2.0) with Ironx foam soap and APC (TAW) without hurting them, and in fact it restored the a lot of beading and self cleaning properties.

For Quick and easy, you could permanon it.

    Re: Question about coating

Yeah a coating may not be the right answer if the chemicals used to maintain it are just going to be flushing your hard work down the toilet. Just put a sealant on it would be my route.
