    Fabric protectant choices

Which fabric protectant should I purchase today?

Looking to make a purchase before the end of today’s current sale.

edit: I already have Cquartz Fabric Coating but could always buy another bottle.

    Im looking at
Optimum Carpet & Fabric Cleaner & Protectant 8 oz.
sounds like another promising product and it cleans too and is dilutable
    or
    303 Fabric Guard
    the least expensive per oz

or should I just buy another bottle of
CarPro Cquartz Fabric Coating 100 ml.
so far I’ve only used it on my baseball caps and one pair of shoes
I don’t see any other choices… AG has
    3D HD Fabric Protector
so I’m guessing this is available to pull as well

    any help is greatly appreciated

I`m really leaning towards the Optimum 8oz as a trial kind of thing.

do you find the 303 protects very well?

I was considering the small bottle of it and the optimum, can get both for about 20 before the sale discounts

I`ve never had a bad optimum product but I don`t really need one that cleans (I use steam and megs apc if needed)--but I could see how the Optimum would come in handy

I protects really well. I used it on a convertible top once and it would bead water like a mad man. The customer needs to get it reapplied periodically but Im sure no other product lasts forever either.

303 Fabric Protectant. Just make sure to tape off or quickly remove overspray. I tried Raggtop and 303 whooped its tail.

    Re: Fabric protectant choices

Thanks for the input but I should clarify that I`m not looking for anything to put on a convertible top necessarily. I was more looking for something to spray on interior fabric after cleaning/steaming like carpets etc.

Additionally I would use it on patio furniture, etc.

I suppose it could also be used on a convertible - I have vynly top cleaner but I can`t recall the last time I did a convertible top for a customer.

    Re: Fabric protectant choices

I was just showing you the protection that you asked about. I dont have a video of it on a seat. That was a fabric top not a vinyl. Do not use fabric protect on a vinyl top.

Not sure what "steps" stokdgs was talking about in the video? After the cleaning process you do then you just spray on the 303 and let it dry. If your customers want it quick then they dont get protection plain and simple.

Have you taken a look at the Marine 31 Fabric Guard? I was a diehard 303 user but picked up a bottle of Marine 31 and used it on my boat covers.I was very happy with the results.

I did not notice that one. I just looked it up.
Did you get the spray one or the aerosol ?
